Projects

Two products I build and run today, and the one before them.

Boswell

Case management software for food pantries, shelters, and community health organizations. It handles intake, client lookup, service tracking, and the reporting their funders require.

It is live, and it records more than 50,000 household assistances a month. 1.2 million to date.

I co-founded the original company and served as its CTO. Years later, after it had wound down, I bought the product back and rebuilt it.

Harmonic.fm

An independent music marketplace. Artists sell directly, and the people who recommend their work earn a cut.

The rule that makes it work: you only earn on a recommendation if you bought the thing yourself.

Earlier

I founded LoudCity and Loudcaster, streaming and licensing software for independent online radio, serving more than 1,000 broadcasters. Eventually I sold the business to a competitor.

The full record is on my resume. I write about how I build at the blog.
